Max + Averi- Catalina Island Golden Hour Proposal- Avalon, CA

Max reached out to me a few months ago with my dream proposition: pull off a surprise proposal on Catalina Island! Just a quick ferry boat ride from Long Beach, California, Catalina was a staple of my Spring Break vacations in high school and college with my family. Dripping in charm and history, the island serves as a wonderfully romantic backdrop to pop the question. After hiking up the hills to the Buena Vista Overlook with all of my gear, (because, there is no Uber or Lyft on the island!) Max led Averi to the gorgeous view. After an astounding YES, we took some gorgeous portraits with the sun setting on the classic views of Catalina Casino and the Avalon Bay.
